I bought this Turner Plus Three microphone about 1975 or 76, right at the heat of the 70's CB Boom!! I was 12 yrs old,... Smokey and the Bandit was out at the theatres... and the old classic tune "Convoy" was on the radio... I had a Midland mobile 23 channel cb hooked up with a 12v converter to my crummy Radio Shack antenna....and my pride and joy...this Turner Microphone. It was all a kid obsessed with the wonderful world of radio could ever want or need. And here it is. Pulled out of storage when I moved, this mic was bought new at a place called Rome Electronics, and hooked up to work with "limited" overmodulation (much to my dismay) by a guy named Steve Utter at his electronics shop. I spent many long nights as a young boy talking to anyone who would listen,,,but now it needs a new home. I can tell you I am the only one to ever use it, and I havent had a chance to use it since I got rid of my radios when I got a bit older. It has not been tested and looks to be in good shape. There are some scratches and minor chips in the finish, but overall is in great shape for a mic thats 32 - 33 yrs old. Please email me with any other questions. Thanks for looking,.
