You are bidding on a RARE ANTIQUE TINTYPE PHOTO depicting a Girl lovingly holding her 2 Bisque or China Dolls. Standing next to her is a Black African American Slave or Servant, wearing a white apron and holding a bouquet of flowers. Possibly a companion to the girl. The girl is covered with large sprays of flowers, almost as if she were in a coffin. If her eyes weren't open, I'd swear she was dead, and that this was a post mortem photo. It is a very strange image, indeed. Tintype measures 3 1/2" X 2 1/4", and is still in Quite Good condition, especially given the age, and as far as tintypes go. Shows just a bit of Age Appropriate wer, with a few light bends / creases which these old tintypes usually seem to have. This is a NO RESERVE Auction! US Buyer to pay USPS First Class S/H of $2.50. Insurance is Extra, and is REQUIRED - please wait for my Invoice! NY State Residents to include 8.75% Sales Tax. Thanks and Good Luck!!
