This auction is for what I believe is an old valve lapper, sure hope I am right. This one measures approximately 14 1/2" long. The back handle and body are one piece brass, the rest is steel with a wood knob. Marked on the rotating handle, "Kunkel Mfg. Co. Hart, Mich. Pat. Pend.". I am not a mechanic and have never used one so am not exactly sure just what it does, I have seen quite few at auctions over the years, none like this. I would say that this one is in good used and handled condition, seems to work fine, an interesting mechanism to my eye, and pleasant to run, it feels good and makes a nice click as it changes directions.
