..::Marias POV::.. I made a bunch of new friends at this crazy college. Theres Rachel, Lauren, Karlee, Bethany, Allison, and Madison. Theyre my new best friends, and they all wanted an amazing boyfriend like Joe. But Id always hold him closer, saying that he was mine and I had already done my deed to claim him. Joe and I have been at this college for almost 2 years, now. And in case youre wondering, YES, our first time was 2 years ago, but weve been keeping up to date, if ya catch ma drift. Oh, and Ive seen Elly! Shes got a new boyfriend. I think his names Luke. Theyre really close and are ALWAYS together. I think shes trying her best to get close with us, again. But we have our new circle of friends. Plus, Kevin visits a lot, maybe even a little too much. Nick even comes with him, sometimes. Hes got a girlfriend too! And youll never guess who! GABBY! Whenever Nick comes, Gabbys with him. Gabs tells me that she thinks shes falling in love with him. Its so cute!! Joes new friends are pretty cool. I think theyre all from the football team. Mike, Jordan, Dan, Chris, Justin, and Jack. Theyre always trying to put the moves on my friends. Its funny to watch them all fail, horribly. But Mike is dating Lauren and theyre pretty close. We double dated a few times with them, but Joe enjoys it being just us two, and to be completely honest, I do too. I decided to follow Kevins advice, and pursue a life involving my music. Ive been taking a ton a music courses and bought myself a guitar. I know all the chords and I write songs nonstop. Joe and I write a lot together. Whenever Kevin comes, the first thing he does is get a chair, sit in it, and wait for us to start performing the newest songs weve written. I still have that notebook full of songs that I had written about Joe when we had out HUGE fight, 2 years ago. But, its funny, since I cant bring myself to open it up and read some of my best work. Our 2nd year at college is quickly coming to a close, which means theres a dance on the way! Me, Karlee and Allison are on the dance committee, but no more of my friends--nor Joes--are apart of it. Our class decided on a "Night Under The Stars" theme. I know were in college and that this seems a little babyish, but we voted on it. Ha! Guess we all like the same thing. Right now, Im at the beach with Joe. Its just usalonemaking out. Haha! His soft lips on mine, always made my body go weak, just like our first OFFICIAL night together after a nasty breakup, 2 years ago. Also known as the day that we proved how much we trusted each other. Also known as the day we had sex. Period. I pulled away, laughing. "Okay, Joe, we really need to eat this food before it gets demolished with sand." He started laughing, too. "Okay, okay," He began, emptying the picnic basket. "We got potato salad," "Yum." He smiled. "Vanilla Coke--your fave--," I smiled. "cheese sandwiches, and oh, look at this" He took two candles out. "Candles!" "Awe, Joe! Youre such a romantic." I cooed. "You know it!" We ate and laid on the blanket, watching the sunset. My head was on his chest, him playing with my hair, twirling it and running his fingers through it. The sky changed colors right before our eyes. These past years with Joe have been amazing. Hes the one I want to spend the rest of my life with. ..::Joes POV::.. Every damn time Kevin comes I ask him when I should pop the big Q to Maria. And every DAMN time he says "wait until after college". I dont know if I want to! I want to know that shell always be mine and,,,,,I wanna start a family with her. "Hey Maria?" "Hmmm?" She said, turning her head to look at me. "You ever think about the future?" She sat up, holding her body up with the support of her left arm. "What do you mean?" "Well, like, having a family?" "Only every day of my life." She paused for a moment. "I ALWAYS think about you and I having family." I smiled. She smiled. We smiled and stared at each other as the sun reached its climax and disappeared. After that, I realized it was dark out. I started packing up the picnic basket and we headed for my car, holding hands. As usual, in the car, Maria laid her head on my shoulder and fell asleep as we drove back up to campus. When we arrived, I gently woke Maria up and guided her back to our dorm. As soon as I opened our rooms door, she went right for her bed. She said goodnight and drifted away to sleep, so quickly, I barely had anytime to return the favor.
